Who Will Benefit
This programme is tailored exclusively for Black women (African, Caribbean, and Mixed-heritage women) working within uniformed services such as the military, law enforcement, fire services, NHS, and prison service. It focuses on the unique challenges at the intersection of race, gender, and workplace culture in these environments.
Why This Programme Matters
Black women in uniformed services face significant challenges, often navigating marginalisation and unrealistic expectations of being ‘strong Black women.’ Frequently, they find themselves as the only Black woman in a space—both highly visible and yet invisible—leading to emotional, psychological, and physical strain.
This programme offers a safe, supportive space to address these challenges, develop leadership skills, build confidence and resilience, equipping participants with practical tools and strategies to thrive, while prioritising well-being.
